Celebrating Architectural Artistry at Cooritalia's Latest Exhibition

We're excited to share that Kirley Architects was recently featured in Cooritalia's latest art exhibition, showcasing our architectural sketches and watercolors alongside just two other Bay Area architects.

back to our roots

There's something special about putting pencil to paper and creating architectural art the old-fashioned way. In a world dominated by CAD and 3D modeling, our hand-drawn sketches and watercolors offer a different perspective on design, one that's more immediate and personal.

These pieces aren't just pretty pictures. They're part of our creative process, helping us explore ideas and capture the essence of a space before we move to digital tools.

Great Response from the Community

What made this exhibition particularly rewarding was connecting with people who truly appreciate this traditional craft. The conversations we had reminded us why we love combining artistry with architecture, and why these skills remain relevant even as technology evolves.

What’s Next

This experience has reinvigorated our commitment to keeping these traditional practices alive in our modern studio. We believe the best architecture comes from blending time-tested artistic techniques with contemporary design thinking.

Thanks to Cooritalia for the opportunity and to everyone who visited the exhibition. Your enthusiasm keeps us inspired.
